baby steps

After a few tries, just posted my first ever hand-typed RSS feed, and my first XML document. ("Homemade rss feed," below.)

• Arbitrarily chose Princeton Public's "Tuesday Night Technology Talks."
• Created a simple XML file in Dreamweaver (XML declaration was automatic)
  
• Uploaded to Eden (and set permissions)
  
• Validated it at W3C Feed Validation Service
  
• Got some JavaScript here (for the box)
  
• Added it to Blogger as "HTML/JavaScript" page element
• Went back and forth between these steps before getting it straight
  

Okay, it's really not such a big deal, since I basically transcribed examples from this and Castro's HTML text, but still.
